These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of flarefinance.co.uk and any services provided by FLARE FINANCE LTD (company number 15609152), trading as Flare Finance ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing the website or engaging with our services, including our SMS messaging program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.

1. Services

Flare Finance provides bookkeeping, finance operations and fractional CFO support to business clients. Specific deliverables, scope, fees, and timelines are governed by separate written engagement agreements between us and each client. These Terms apply to all visitors to our website and to anyone who interacts with our messaging program.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to enter into agreements on behalf of yourself or any business you represent.

3. Use of the website

You agree to use our website and services lawfully. You will not:

• Use the site or services in any way that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, systems, or networks.
• Scrape, copy, or repurpose website content without written permission.
• Submit false or misleading information through any form or call booking.
• Interfere with the operation or security of our systems.

4. SMS messaging program

Consent

Providing a phone number, booking a meeting or accepting these Terms does not by itself enrol you in SMS messaging. We send recurring messages only when you have opted in to the relevant messaging programme. Consent to receive marketing messages is optional and is not a condition of purchase. If you text us first, we may reply to your enquiry; this does not enrol you in recurring promotional messages.

Types of messages

• Meeting confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling messages.
• Account or service updates relating to your engagement.
• Replies to messages you initiate.
• Occasional promotional or informational messages where you have separately consented.

Frequency, costs, opt-out, and help

• Frequency: message frequency varies depending on your engagement with us.
• Costs: message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier plan. Flare Finance does not charge for SMS messages.
• Opt-out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a single confirmation, and no further messages from that SMS programme will be sent. To opt back in, reply START.
• Help: reply HELP to any message, or email liam@flarefinance.co.uk.
• Carrier disclaimer: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS data handling

Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances. They are used solely to deliver the messages you have requested. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Intellectual property

All content on flarefinance.co.uk, including text, graphics, logos, images, video, and code, is the property of Flare Finance or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flare Finance, its team, and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or any messaging program, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity. Our total liability for any direct claim arising from your use of the website is limited to the greater of (a) any amounts you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flare Finance from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the website, breach of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party right.
